En Budapest funciona bastante gran número de cines bastante elevado y cada mes se abren otros, sobre todos situados en los grandes centros comerciales. Los Húngaros, como los Españoles, prefieren las películas con el dubbing profesional, pero hay también sesiones de películas con subtítulos en húngaro. Las sesiones con las bandas sonoras originales llevan una marca para ser reconocidas por los extranjeros con más facilidad. Hay que cuidar para no comprar los billetes a la película de cuyas diálogos no entenderemos ni una sola palabra.
